Found Footage: Steve Jobs 1984 keynote

This is an excerpt from a 1984 Steve Jobs keynote address showing off some new features in the Mac. Amazing at the time. Notice how tan Steve is, not to mention his need for a haircut. But those were the 80's. I also really like how the crowd goes wild!

Enjoy.!

Boston Wi-Fi Jump-Started With Macs

Reported on MacSlash:
The first wireless network to join Boston's recently-announced city wi-fi project will be run exclusively on Macs. The "Mac network, called BostonOpen.net, will provide access for about $15 a month for mobile Mac users." The operator of the network believes that this will be the first Mac-only wireless ISP. Why Macs? "Mac users already know that they need less support than PC users. So, if they're easier to support, they deserve cheaper access." Makes sense to me!
